With operations in nine departments in the West of France, CPLB is the leading French rabbit breeding group. It markets more than 7 million rabbits a year and has its own genetic production tools as well as a full range of services and feeds. Very proactive on the subject of animal welfare, the group is a pioneer in the creation of new sectors or new models.
Breeders take pride in what they do and in their production, which is constantly evolving to meet the expectations of partners and consumers. Both improved welfare standards and the creation of new production models are proof that this is a dynamic sector. The sector is calling for new recruits. It is possible to get new breeders to replace old ones within the existing structures. New breeders may also operate farms on their own as a main activity or as a second job.
